Our observatory is dedicated to investigating and developing African entrepreneurial ecosystems through a unique technique that combines the network method with deep learning.

Founded in Casablanca, Morocco, it is the Only observatory for Pan-African Entrepreneurship.

What do we do ?

Why ?

Entrepreneurship is a fundamental force for transformation and growth in Africa.

African policy-makers and entrepreneurs are flying blind as they have little data they can trust.

We solve that problem by :

  • proposing a coherent and tailor made framework for action ;
  • leveraging potential high-impact strategies ;
  • particularly in the short-to-medium term.

Needs

African Nations and Regions need to stimulate their entrepreneurial forces, but actual data does not provide medium to short term framework, leveraging a strong need for :

  • Relevant economic intelligence tools for Entrepreneurship in Africa ;
  • The ability to draw up realistic and effective strategies and action plans ;
  • Establish real, efficient synergies in the field ;
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of actions with relevant measures ;
  • At a medium to short term.

Solution

Our Observatory delivers organizational diagnostics on 19 African entrepreneurial ecosystems:

  • 456 separate, scientifically valid national reports, updated annually (in French and in English)
  • on a period of 15 years between 2008 and now
  • ability to study specific subjects on request
  • an online platform to quickly identify and contact the right actor to support specific entrepreneurial opportunities

This dataset is unique in the world, there is nothing compared.

National Reports Roadmap

The +1500 repository of African Entrepreneurial Ecosystem actors is available, with extensive attributes and functions. Tunisian (12 in french and 12 in english) and Moroccan (12 in french and 12 in english) reports are available from 2008 to 2023. See here for the data collection and report production for the other Countries.

Pan African Reports
